A homestay in the city though among a river, a lake and a wood

The flat is in the Berlin district of Köpenick, in the area called „Wendenschloss“. This area is surrounded by water (Dahme river and Lange See lake) and a forest is only 5 minutes walk away. At the other side of the forest you find “muggelsee”, the biggest lake in Berlin and the seaside-resort similar district of “Friedrichshagen”. This room suits particularly to guests who even in the city prefer to live in a quite green area and who like to make sport (running, cycling, swimming, hiring a rowboat or a pedal boat). Getting to the city center by car takes around 35 minutes.
If you want to use the public transportation system you can cross the river via the F12 ferry (part of the city transportation system), than the city train (S-Bahn) of the line S8 and S46 at Grunau station. As an alternative you can take the tram 62 till Köpenick station, then continue with the S3 city train. In both cases this will take around 55 minutes If you happen to remain out in the city center till late in the night, you can still come back home at that time, taking the night bus N62.

The gay area in the Schöneberg, Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichshain areas can be reached by car within 30 minutes (about an hour using the pubblic transportation system).

Schönefeld ariport and Ostbahnhof station are about 30 minutes away (public transportation system). Berlin Hauptbahnhof main station can be reached in around 45 minutes and Tegel airport in around one hour.
The next motoray exit (Adleshof, A113) is 10 minutes ride away.
