We are just an eight minute walk from Paddington Station, where the Heathrow Express (15 minutes) and Heathrow Connect (25 minutes) terminate. We are just 30 minutes from the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras station.
If you are coming into Luton airport the coach service stops at Baker Street which is just a short bus (or underground) ride away. Ask us for details of the best way to reach the Studio. If you are coming into Stansted airport the coach comes directly to Paddington Station
The Studio has its own entrance directly from the shared patio, and inside you will find your bedroom/living room (with a real bed, and a pull out sofa bed for extra guests); your private shower room and W.C., your kitchen with washer/drier, dishwasher, fridge, hob and microwave-combi oven. The Studio has a small safe for small laptop or other valuables.
The kitchen is stocked with food for your breakfast and replenished during your stay.
We are surrounded by tube stations serving five different underground lines, which will take you wherever you want to go in London.
The gay bars and cafes of Old Compton Street Soho are very accessible by underground, by bus (night services run all night) and by taxi. The famous night clubs of Vauxhall are also accessed by direct buses (including night buses) and by underground and taxi. All within 20-30 minutes of the Studio. We are conveniently located for Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street. A short distance from Nottinghill and Portobello Road with its famous market.
Kensington is a short (underground/bus/walk) journey away. It is the home to several major museums such as Natural History museum and Science museum. The famous department stores Harrods, Peter Jones and Harvey Nichols are also located in Kensington/Sloane Square area.
Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are very close by (5 - 8 minutes walk). If you walk along the Bayswater Road you will reach Oxford Street, the most famous shopping street in London with shops such as Selfridges and Debenhams. Most of London's attractions are within easy reach, such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Circus.
Notting Hill is one of the most attractive areas of London, with many beautiful buildings. Notting Hill is full of trendy café and bars, small shops and galleries.
